December Art in Brooklyn

It may be getting cold but there is much to see in Brooklyn this week. Starting off the week there is DUMBO first Thursday from 6-9. 



 Each gallery at A.I.R will be opening new shows from 6-9,  in gallery 1, The Red/Pink ShowA biennial benefit exhibition of art made by women, in gallery 2
Linda Kuehne Suburban Landscapes: The Architecture of Nowhere and in gallery 3, Liz Biddle, Nancy Lasar and Ann Sgarlata, Ephemeral  All three shows run through Dec 5 - Jan 4.

The Flat Files: Year One opens Dec 6 from 7 - 10 at TSA
24 artists who have exhibited at TSA will be participating in the event, featuring Leah Beeferman, Dustin Dennis, Rachel Frank, Rachael Gorchov, Tai Yin Ho, An Hoang, Jason Karolak, Essye Klempner, Todd Knopke, Anna Kunz, Blaze Lamper, Karl Larocca, Heidi Lau,Amanda Lechner, Sean McCarthy, Michele Mirisola, Melissa Oresky, Norman Paris, Matt Phillips, Andrew Prayzner, Naomi Reis, Caroline Santa, Kirk Stoller, Christopher Ulivo.
Concurrently an online component has launched Dec 1 and will run the entire year. 

Abstract Tapestry An Exhibition of contemporary abstract paintings opens at the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center Dec 7, from 6-9 the show runs through Dec 29.
