This Week In Brooklyn


There is a lot to see in Brooklyn this November, to check out ongoing shows the listings provide a comprehensive list of galleries, when they are open and their websites. 


The new BRIC Media House which recently opened with the inaugural show Housewarming: Notions of Home from the Center of the Universe will be on view the entire month through Dec 15.

Sarah Maxfield's, We deserve each other, No.2 is on view at The Invisible Dog’s Glass House through Nov 24 Thurs- Sat from 1-7. The glass house is located next to the The Invisible Dog. 
Her second installation Analog Wall Post opens for interaction Friday Nov 22 from 6-7.

On Friday Nov 22, Richard Timperio, Color Me Gone, opens at Janet Kurnatowski Gallery from 7-9.

Lauren Carly Shaw, Twice Removed, opens Fri Nov 22, 7-10 at The Active Space. A solo show of sculptures, drawings, and installations  that explore the body as an object.

Delicate Enchantments opens at NARS Fri Nov 22, from 6-8. A group show featuring Guy Ben-Ari, Madison Bycroft, Katrina Chamberlin, Catherine Connolly, Natasha Frisch, Suzanne Goldenberg, Katya Grokhovsky, Kyoung Eun Kang and Liliya Lifanova. Work explores interactions in daily life.

On Sat Nov 23, Andrea Loefke, Homecoming and LoVid, Roots No Shoots opens at Smack Mellon from 5-8. Andrea Loefke's site specific installation with found and everyday objects explores extreme weather systems, while LoVids technological installation deals with human mind and body interaction with natural and technological environments.
